  My friend and I visited the coffee shop for afternoon tea today, never been so disappointed! We were given a pot full of margarine for the scones, and a tiny dish with squirt cream in, which by the way was melting! A tiny dish with an apricot jam splat! I asked where the clotted cream was for the scones to be told they had ran out of it, and I asked what was in its place and was told the squirt cream (which was totally melted at this point) was for the scone! I asked if we could possibly have more as it was melted, the girl looked at me as if I had 2 heads, and she said “ok”... waited a good 5 mins, and had to go and ask again, it’s not like the girls were serving anyone to cause my wait because there wasn’t any customer there. I said to the girl we didn’t like margarine and you’re meant to have butter with the scones, again I got the strange look, and she handed me 2 pats of butter for myself and friend! So, country baskets, you have gone right down hill, unless we were treated differently because we used a groupon code? Who knows...will we be back? Not sure about that unless something is done about [email protected]
